OVERVIEW
This project involved creating a custom image library for a local pawn shop to support their advertising campaign in a regional magazine. We moved away from the cluttered look often associated with the industry to focus on the high value items they carry, such as jewelry, luxury watches, and professional tools. By using clean lighting and intentional compositions, we provided the client with sophisticated visuals that elevate their brand presence for a broader audience in Salem and Portland.
OBJECTIVE
To produce high quality assets for a specific print advertising layout. The goal was to rebrand the shop’s public image by highlighting the quality of their inventory and the professionalism of their staff. These images were designed to catch the eye of magazine readers and drive new foot traffic to their Oregon location.
APPROACH
We focused on a mix of product photography and lifestyle shots to tell a complete story of the shop’s services and owners.
- We photographed the showroom to highlight the clean, organized layout and welcoming atmosphere.
- We captured candid moments of the team assisting customers to emphasize trust and expert service.
- We composed shots with specific margins in mind, ensuring the images would look sharp and properly framed within a glossy magazine spread.
OUTCOME
The project resulted in a professional suite of images that successfully shifted the brand’s visual narrative. The client used these assets for their primary magazine features as well as their social media and updated website.
